Bridgend Writers' Circle meets monthly at Coed Parc, the Library Headquarters in Park Street, Bridgend. Meetings are normally held on the second Friday of each month, and start at 7:15pm. Click here to see the current programme.

All of those interested in creative writing of any kind are free to come along to a meeting. Membership is £6 per year but 'trial' members are not expected to pay at their first meeting. The circle does not provide tuition, but the various activities are designed to provide writers at all levels with stimulation. The Chairman, Secretary, or other members can usually point you towards a formal course if that is what you want. As well as the programme and other activities, it is usually worth talking to existing members who share your interests.

BWC was formed in 1975 (see history), and believes in the members doing things and getting involved. It has a constitution and Officers, but the formalities are kept to a minimum.
