Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting was held on September 9th. The Financial Report and election of Officers for the year 2011/12 also took place.
The following events also took place:
1. Results for the Saviker Competition were announced.
2. 2012 Saviker topics were announced.
3. Prize/Shields Presentation.
4. Literary Quiz from John and Christine Osborne.

Vic Rees Monologue Competition
The monologues will be read out and judged.

Guest Speaker: Sally Spedding
Well-known crime novelist Sally Spedding will be giving a talk.

9 December 2011

The Christmas Meeting
Saviker overall Winner and Runners up to read their entries, followed by our Christmas Buffet.

13 January 2012

Travel Writing
1. Ann Sage will give a talk on travel writing.
2. The Railton Competition will be announced.

10 February 2012

Manuscript Evening
1. Bring along a work-in-progress for reading and critique.
2. Entries for The Railton Competition will be handed in.

9 March 2012

Prose Evening
1. Legendary storyteller Owen Staton will be our guest speaker.
2. Results of The Railton Competition will be revealed.
3. The Endeavour Competition will be announced.

Results Reading Evening
Bring along any winning entries (1st & 2nd) of the the Mini-Competitions or external successes you have gained throughout the year for reading out to the group.
Saviker category Winners and Runners up also welcome to do readings.
